What we collect
Nothing, when you browse. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There are no accounts, no comments and no sign-up forms.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That processing is covered by Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We don't use this data to identify or profile visitors.
The tweet-sized review helper
The tweet-sized review helper runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not stored or sent to us. If you press Share on X, your browser opens X with the text filled in, and from then on X's own privacy policy applies.
Share on X buttons
The Share on X buttons on our reviews are plain links. They don't load anything from X until you click them.
If you email us at contact@bookwitty.social, we use your address and message only to reply. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your address with anyone. You can ask us to delete our correspondence with you at any time.
Children
The site is meant for a general audience and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.

Using the site
You're welcome to read, link to and share anything on BookWitty Social. Quoting a short excerpt with a link back is fine. Please don't republish whole reviews, lists or guides without asking.
Our content
Reviews and lists are our opinions, written in good faith. We work hard to get facts right, but we can't guarantee that every detail is complete or current, especially about features of X, which change often. Book titles and quoted lines belong to their authors and publishers; we keep quotations short and credited.
Links
Some pages link to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content. We don't use affiliate links.
No warranty
The site and the tweet-sized review helper are provided as they are, free of charge, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from using them.
