Book reviews with a sense of humor
Honest book reviews, short enough to tweet and long enough to trust.
We read the novels everyone keeps recommending and tell you the truth about them: one witty line, a 280-character verdict, then the full review with who should read it and who should skip it.

Talk about books on X without shouting into the void
Readers still swap recommendations on X every day under #BookTwitter and #booktwt. Our guides cover finding them, writing a review thread people finish, and running a book club in public.

"Small Things Like These" by Claire Keegan: a hundred-odd pages, one quiet coal merchant, and more moral nerve than most 600-page novels. Read it in an evening, think about it for a month. #BookTwitter

Questions readers ask us
What kind of books does BookWitty Social review?
Mostly literary fiction published in the last ten years or so: prize winners, book club favorites and the novels people keep recommending to each other. Every review gives a one-line take, a tweet-sized version, the full review and a clear read-it-if or skip-it-if.
Are the reviews spoiler-free?
Yes. We describe the setup, the style and how the book feels to read, and we stop before any twist or ending. If a book is hard to discuss without a spoiler, the review says so and keeps it vague.
Can I share a review on X?
Every review has a tweet-sized version under 280 characters with a Share on X button. There is also a free helper that counts characters the way X does, so you can write and post your own tweet-sized review.
Does BookWitty Social use affiliate links or take payment for reviews?
No. There are no affiliate links, no ads and no paid placements, and nobody sends us money to cover a book. We pick what we review.
