If you see firefox stall on 'Looking up foobar.com' in #OpenBSD -current, after some time (happened to be between 1 and 30mn of uptime) try to revert https://github.com/openbsd/src/commit/a0801e345934b8c139c255c8327f726a614b3267
This fixed the issue for me.

How do people track, backup & restore their workstation config files? #BSD #OpenBSD

Fun with slowcgi today in #OpenBSD's httpd jail :) Tried newlisp, jimtcl, perl and C ... everything works. Thank you @florian for your work.

I also helped jsing@ bring up an #arm64 machine, so he can work on porting go-lang to #openbsd/#arm64

#OpenBSD's support for #arm64 is getting slowly better.

I tested @qbit's update for Node.js, which also enables arm64.

And, I have submitted a forked u-boot to ports@ that supports the #pinebook.

If you want a console music player on #OpenBSD #macppc, try the #siren package. It handles just about every major format with a UI similar to #cmus and #ncmpcpp.

@mulander In this case the port required the use of STARTTLS, which I think isn't supported by nc(1), but otherwise #OpenBSD's netcat is an awesome tool for this purpose.
Come to think of it, it would probably be nice to have something like the '-s' option in gnutls-cli for this purpose.

Hi all, new here! I'm an #openbsd user and my interests are in #writing, #reading, #operating_systems, #privacy, #security, #decentralization and #federalization. I'm on #SDF's Mastodon instance too as @fuuko . I have other interests, but those are mainly what I'll be talking about in this one! It's nice to meet you all and I thank the admin for making an instance for *BSD users!

Anybody use a #razer bladestealth with #openbsd ? Work is getting me a work laptop.

It has an 8th gen intel card.

It feels so nice when I can see my code making progress, and closer and closer to being usable.
