Well, well. #OpenBSD ports are already getting MATE 1.20. Awesome.
So I spent most of the day looking for a regression that was introduced during #a2k18
If you see firefox stall on 'Looking up foobar.com' in #OpenBSD -current, after some time (happened to be between 1 and 30mn of uptime) try to revert https://github.com/openbsd/src/commit/a0801e345934b8c139c255c8327f726a614b3267
This fixed the issue for me.
In 2018 I would like to:
* start teaching again
* work with @qrs in some way
* do more for #OpenBSD / #FreeBSD / #HardenedBSD
* move out of my datacentre setup into a home-based fibre professional setup.
There is a meltdown patch in the snapshots. If you were holding out, testing -current now might be a good time try, you may help find problems. #OpenBSD

#Introduction
Hi all, new here! I'm an #openbsd user and my interests are in #writing, #reading, #operating_systems, #privacy, #security, #decentralization and #federalization. I'm on #SDF's Mastodon instance too as @fuuko . I have other interests, but those are mainly what I'll be talking about in this one! It's nice to meet you all and I thank the admin for making an instance for *BSD users!
It feels so nice when I can see my code making progress, and closer and closer to being usable.
